Thor: Ragnarok a super hit (Review)

The Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s decade of box office domination has been pretty much all-around impressive, but not all superhero blockbusters are created equal, and the Thor franchise has been the de facto black sheep among the studio’s growing roster of critical and commercial hits. That looks likely to change with the third installment, Thor: Ragnarok, directed under the an eccentric mind of Taika Waititi, showing some heart warming topics of exiling Thor from Asgard, distruction of Asgard, that typical doomsday prophecy and somehow manages to make it all a lot of fun. I personally like the plot of movie although the story is somewhat predictive. But the fact that every characters in the movie was able to elaborate themselves more then they use to do in previous movies. Like Chris Hemsworth completely able to force his real life personality in a role and so do Mark Ruffalo and Tom Hiddleston. The fact that Cate blanchett(Hela), Tessa Thompson(Valkyrie), Jeff Goldblum(Grandmaster) seems comfortable becoming part of this 20 year old movie series is equal to triumph, I guess.

I also love the way they always brings new characters to MCU(marvel Cinematic Universe). Hela was one of the first female villain and addition to that Korg(very first enemy of Thor comics), Valkyrie(member of comic masterpiece-THE DEFENDERS), Grandmaster(One of the elders of the universe), Skurge-The Executioner(One of the famous comic character as well), Miek(one of villain in Hulk comic), Topaz(queen of malabu comic). And by Adding this characters they always create more space for more.

So take away from movie, Firstly we get to know what Thor and Hulk were doing during the time of Civil War and its seems that it was important then just fighting for innocence of a friend(Bucky Barnes). Secondly we get to know that Thor can fight without Mjolnir. Hulk is a strongest Avenger. Bruce Banner has 7 fucking PhDs. Odin loves Norway.Loki’s reaction after seeing Hulk. You can travel between universes with the help of Devil’s anus. Loki is not as bad as he seems. And most important is that Thor loved SNAKES when he was 8. HAHA! Anyways, what I didn’t like is that they kill Odin, Fuck up with Thor’s eye, destruction of Mjolnir and name selection for his team (Revengers). Wtf was that all about !

It was not a great set up for INFINITY WAR as we can’t judge from post credit scene but Marvel keeps managing to find a way to balance its rich history against good old-fashioned popcorn fun and Thor: Ragnarok looks like it’s even more fun than most.

Fuck Fact: Anthony Hopkins(Odin) have said about the role of Odin in Thor3 on Premier of Thor2, that he might be seen dead in next part and that’s exactly what happen. He said “I might be dead, had two, that enough.” Box office turn over till date is $211,589,707
