Supreme X Rimowa might never reach to Supreme X Louis Vuitton’s HYPE.

This week, hypebeasts around the world were greeted with the opportunity to look even better while travelling (perhaps to meet other hypebeasts around the world and brag about their millions and billions). Venerable German company Rimowa—best known for its super-high-quality aluminium luggage—has teamed up with NYC-based Supreme on a tight capsule collection of roller bags. I know this sounds super weird but ask yourself, do you really think that Supreme can let go of any area. Most of you don’t know but they have the most surprising collaborations of all time. Don’t believe me? Remember the time they launched “Supreme Brick”?

Anyways, there are two versions of Rimowa's Topas roller: a carry-on and one sized for check in. Both feature aluminium bodies, rolling wheels, TSA combo locks, and two internal dividers. The smaller version clocks in at 45 litres of capacity and a price tag of $1,600. The larger size ups things to 82 litres, and retails for $1,800. Both are expensive AF but guaranteed to inspire line-ups when they drop on April 12 at Supreme stores in New York, London, and Paris—and again when they hit select Rimowa stores on April 14. It’s not surprise either because later last year they launched “ChristopherBackpack” and “Keepall Bandouliere” (key product of Supreme X Louis Vuitton) for about $6500. Their resale price are hitting sky with a price tags of approx $9000. Rimowas seem pretty cheap, aren’t they?

This being a Supreme collab, you can also bet that they'll set out faster than you can blink, then hit the resale market at insane mark-ups. My forecast is that their price might increase with more rapid and higher percentages. Right now we can expect upto 190% raise just after the launch and might come down to 150%. This raise is still less compare to the other entire product line but we can just simply guess. Rimowas being a proper luggage company, it will be hard to expand prices in resale section, maybe that’s the reason it’s little cheaper than the other collaboration products by Supreme at the first place. If you want in, my advice is to get shopping early and keep trying. The dual-date drop is a blessing. Good luck!
