Why Sir Alex Ferguson was there at UEFA final with RONALDO ?
I know may of you might know that Sir Alex "Boss" was there at Cardiff final where Real Madrid won Juventus by 4-1. Ronaldo scored 2 goal which made him Man-of-the-match. Sir Alex was one of the very first people who came up to Ronaldo after the final whistle and congratulate him. And after sometime Boss was the one who present Man-of-the-match award to Ronaldo for his precise curling past Buffon and then adding Real's decisive third goal. This one was Real Madrid's second successive European tittle which made his count of four Champion leagues tittle with Real Madrid and one with Manchester United.
Most of the people who are really close to football world is humbled by the true father-son relationship off the pitch. But I think Boss was there for something else. He was not there to congratulate Ronaldo or Ronaldo Jr., OBVIOUSLY ! But I think Sir Alex was there for once in a life time offer for RONALDO...? NO , for mutual fans of Manchester united and Ronaldo. US, you and me ! As we know Michael Carrick's Testimonial was there just after UEFA finals on 4th June. And we all know we wanted Ronaldo to play for Manchester United for that match. I think Sir had send Ronaldo a humble request but due to dates of match colliding with the dates of his vacation. He might had prefer his vacation over million hearts. But as we all know Sir Alex can do anything for us. He decide to go to the world's best footballer himself and plead. Sir must have asked for that only but I think Ronaldo should have said something which might not be leaked. He was like "You know sir I had transfer from that team years ago, 10 to be exact. And I know its hard to believe but you were the one who signed the contract. And to make this easy on you and fans I do release I LOVE MANCHESTER STATEMENTS once in a while, as you said".
